Dream of and draw Space travel / Dream of Space travel, draw KYUNG Dalpio 

 
The order of the universe, the vast universe,

the expansion of space, presence and absence, light and rise,

the birth and breath of life, all the flowing things…
 

I've been working on drawing thoughts for a long time, not drawing concrete objects.

 
Rather than drawing a specific object, I wanted to capture the meanings of space, labor, silence, seriousness, and the fight against time on the canvas.
 

To sum up, my world of work was more of a composition than a performance.

 

I used circles or dots as a way of expressing infinite forms.

 
The endless universe and repetition were expressed through circles or dots.


I wanted to express a point is infinity and infinity is a point, and the presence and the absence at the same time.

 
The work expressed in the form of an ellipse was represented conceptually through observation of the sea mainly. 


As I tried to work on observing and describing nature, the expression of my work diversified as if it were moving from composition toperformance.

 

I don't know when my completion as an artist will come, but my plan and wish is to keep painting.
